Clean hotel in a beautiful building not far from Syntagma and Plaka and restaurants of Plaka and the centre of old Athens within a 10 minute walk of the acropolis. Wonderful location, minute walk from Ermou Street. The rooms with an amazing view on the acropolis. Patient and attentive staff members at the reception desk. Extensive breakfast and outstanding food selection.

hotel is located in a privileged point, meters away from the restaurants, commerce and areas of interest, away from the congestion of tourists that circulate in the neighboring streets. close to the metro, Acropolis is just a few minutes walk away. hotel has comfortable beds, pleasant terrace in the room and from the hotel terrace there is a restaurant with a view of the Acropolis. air conditioning is working well and it has good reading light. excellent attention of the reception staff, restaurant and lady in the toilet. breakfast offers eggs in 3 presentations, Greek yogurt, breads, pastries, canned and fresh fruits, cereals, fruit juices, coffee.

I think that the hotel charges what it offers for being in that point, a little farther from that strategic enclave you can get hotels with swimming pool and bathtub for the same price, but whoever is going to walk through Athens will love walking it from that neighborhood. I narrowed the space for the shower, I did not adjust the handle that held it. You have to be careful with the small elevator because it doesn't have a sensor on the door. For my taste, breakfast should be offered at least until 11 a.m.

It's location - close to the Plaka/Syntagma. Seemed good value for money and w ewere not disappointed.

Reasonably large, airy units provided with good view, big balcony, bath. Great location for Athens, short walk to Syntagma square, shopping streets and restaurants, and the Acropolis and Museum, Odeon Herodes.

Location

Entrance looks impressive, but rooms themselves + walkways very old / not well maintained. In addition, staff refusing to give out showtimes of a local cinema, with best solution to be venture there and see (!)

An electric kettle in the room would also be great.

Roof-top facilities

Really great and perfact location! In between Plaka and Syntagma! Got upgraded to a really good room with an Acropolis view! Staff were really amazing and efficient!

Lack of Wifi- should be standard by now in hotels of this quality

Make sure you stay in the economy room with a safe box as well as a balcony. The breakfast is hearty and sumptuous, with pastry and yougurt, for example.

Great hotel, clean, nicely decorated with a modern design, reasonably sized rooms. A rooftop bar with amazing views of Acropolis. Also very well priced. All around a good choice. Situated well in the near of all major sights in Athens.

The Central Hotel is modern and very comfortably appointed. Good size bedroom, well appointed bathroom, good facilities, located near the Plaka, the main shopping and restaurant area of Athens, and overlooks the Acropolis. With a good GPS finding the hotel is reasonably easy, the narrow one way streets of Athens can be trying. Overall a good experiece staying at the Central.

Only downside is the elevator, small three passenger car.
